Business Meetings
Privacy Policy
Effective August 12, 2026. Using the Service means you accept this.
This Privacy Policy explains how Business Meetings (“we”, “us”) collect, use, and share information when you use our website and application (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Access requests: name, email, and any message you send from the home page.
- Accounts: name, email, hashed password, and whether the account is an Owner.
- Church records you enter: organization name, member names, positions, seats and term years, meetings, nominations, vote counts, and related results.
- Technical: session cookies and server logs needed to keep you signed in and operate the Service.
2. How we use it
We use this information to set up churches, authenticate users, run meetings, drive the projector, generate results PDFs, provide support, and protect the Service.
3. Who can see it
- Church administrators see only the church or churches assigned to them.
- The Service Owner can access every church in order to operate and support the Service.
- Anyone present for a projected meeting, and anyone who has a projector or results-PDF link, can see the names and vote information on that display.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data as needed to run the Service.
We do not sell your information.
4. Projector and shared files
The projector page is reachable by anyone with its link. A results PDF you download or share leaves the Service under your control. Treat those as public to whoever you show them to. They are not a secret ballot.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep information while a church uses the Service, and in backups and logs as needed for security and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete an account or a church, we will do so within a reasonable time except where we must retain records.
6. Your choices
Church administrators can edit roster and meeting data in the Service. To change an account email, delete a church, or ask what we hold, use the home page form or the email address we used when your church was set up.
7. Children
The Service is for church administrators. If you enter names of minors (for example a youth committee), you are responsible for having the right to do so.
8. Where it is processed
The Service may be hosted outside your province or country. By using it, you agree to that processing.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page. The effective date above will change when we do.
